Many of these places represent historical importance, whilst others are in use to this day. Naturally, the bulk of locations are found in Glasgow and the surrounding areas, however, the guide does extend across the water to Ireland and beyond. The idea of titling this book From Paradise To Prague was toyed with as, remarkably, the tangible Celtic connection stretches that far. The Czech capital is not the only continental site that features in the guide either.Each location is accompanied with photographs, address information and a detailed description of its significance to the Celtic story. It is hoped that the book can serve as a Celtic map of sorts, so that fans can either connect with the club’s history or drink in the present. The intention is also for the publication to double up as a series of extracts about various parts of the Celtic fairy tale. Through touring the different sites, everything from legendary players to Celtic’s charitable roots and supporter’s stories can be discovered. Enjoy the journey.
